Most of my interest in dog training started from Baxter and Bella. As a trainer under Amy Jensen for this online puppy school, I have learned how to train a dog through positive reinforcement and rewards based training methods. I do not support aversive or fear based training methods, because I believe a behavior done out of fear is unpredictable and stands as a barrier to build trust with your dog. I studied and earned my CPDT from Catch K9 in New Jersey, and did my mentorship with Amy Jensen (CPDT). Learning to train dogs started as a hobby and became something I wanted to do the rest of my life. Thanks to Baxter and Bella I am doing what I love and learning along the way with each new puppy.

Stephanie Major is the creator and founder of Breeders Bootcamp. She has set a high standard for breeding. Stephanie has more than 15 years of experience in breeding and raising puppies. It is through this experience that she has come to understand the critical role breeders play during the first nine weeks of a puppy's life, and that there is much we can be doing to help each puppy develop a strong foundation. As a breeder myself, I turned to Stephanie as a mentor and educator as I began my journey through breeding. She has taught me that it takes more than genetics, health testing, and pedigrees to raise a healthy dog. She teaches that to truly set each puppy up for success we must focus on their COGNITIVE and EMOTIONAL needs as well. As breeders we can and must educate ourselves and act upon the power we hold in shaping who our puppies will become.
